GDMA Supports President’s Challenge 2008
The President’s Challenge is community-based activities conducted yearly, which was initiated by President S R Nathan in 2000. The activity primarily aims to increase awareness about how the community can get involved in helping the less fortunate. Furthermore, it also aims to raise funds for the social service sector. It is hoped that by doing this, a more cohesive society would be created. The Challenge also aims to convey that the more able in society have a special responsibility to help the rest of society and that all Singaporeans can make a difference in our community.
