The Group in particular, has consistently excelled and delivered when occasions require us to have an understanding of local protocols, the security environment and the logistical needs. The Group is always mindful of the need to carry out its corporate social responsibility. Because of its CSR activities it was able to support the US and other Commonwealth forces their engagements in crucial humanitarian and rescue operations in Timor Leste, for example. The Group assisted US expeditionary units with earthquake relief efforts, serviced ships off the coast of Sumatra and provided ground support for aircraft salvage operations. The Group has undertaken massive support to countless humanitarian missions in Aceh and Nias Islands, Indonesia as well, and in the 2004 Tsunami Relief effort, during which it actively supported 21 USN ships led by the USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN, USNS MERCY and many other vessels from friendly nations
